Moshe Weinberg

Bio

Moshe "Muni" Weinberg was born September 19, 1939 in Israel. He was an Israeli national wrestling youth champion, the coach of the Israeli International Wrestling Team and the coach of Hapoel Tel Aviv. Muni was the Israeli Middleweight Champion and the Adult Wrestling Champion for eight years. His career began at Hapoel Haifa. He was also a Certified Coach at the Wingate Institute's  School of Coaches and Manager of the Halls of Residence. Muni lived with his wife on the Wingate campus in the staff housing quarter. At the time of the 1972 Olympic Games, Muni and his wife Miriam had a one month old son, Guri Weinberg.
